Healing Hearts

Oh Heavenly Father we come to you today and just Thank you for waking us up healthy and whole. Thank you Lord for all that you have given us. We also want to just Thank You for your incredible grace and mercy that you give to us daily. Lord, we give our hearts to you today in every way, including the broken places in us. Lord we come to your thrown boldy God not just asking for our hearts to be healed but that every part of our very being is healed from the inside out. From the top of our heads to the souls of our feet that we are healed by Jesus Christ because you said in your word that we are healed by Jesus stripes so Lord you first called us healed so God we are expecting today that you help us to think from a healed mind, love from a healed heart and that our actions God would be in complete alignment of the steps that you have already ordered for our lives. We declare your authority over our hearts, for you made our hearts and you have redeemed our hearts. Lord just as it says in Psalm 26:2 test me Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind. Lord, where our minds and hearts are not one with you or your desires God, quickly make us aware and help us to do whatever will get us back in alignment so that we can do whatever is pleasing to you. [Psalm 10:17] O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear. So Lord hear this prayer today. In the places God where our hearts are weakened from our past let us do as it says in Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Lord let your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and mind. Let our hearts not be hardened toward you, ourselves or anyone else but let our hearts be softened so that we can [Ephesians 4:32] Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us.

Lord help us where we lack passion for you and your word, ignite us with a fire that burns deeply and only for you. Let us store up your word in our hearts God so that we might not sin against you. [Hebrews 4:12] For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Help us [Proverbs 3:5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on our own understanding. Even when we don’t understand why something has happened or what your reasonings are God, let our hearts not be troubled and let us not be afraid of the unknown and still continue to trust in you. [Hebrews 10:22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. As we draw close to you, draw even closer to us God. Because it is says in you word [Psalm 34:18] The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. So God today where ever our hearts are wounded or wherever we might be crushed in spirit God let us do like it says in Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! As humans sometimes it seems hard to wait because we become so impatient, so God even as we wait on you we need you to (Psalm 51:10) Create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spritit within us. Fill us up with more of you and less of ourselves. Lord we invite you into our emotions, memory, broken places and we give you permission to have complete access to our whole heart even the wholes God that only you can fill.

As we walk in a healed heart God, guide us to the love as your word describes in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Lord, through out this week remind us of the incredible love that you have for us and the kind of love that we should show toward each other. [Psalm 19:14] May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. [Psalm 97:11] Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. So let us walk in the joy of the Lord as our hearts become one with yours.

In Jesus Might Name We Pray, Amen!!!
