Waiting Well & Trusting God’s Timing

Thank You for going before us and behind us.  Thank You for making our crooked places straight (Luke 3:5).  Thank You for your grace and that you give us hope and encouragement in our waiting.  Lord, help us to be still before You and wait patiently on You (Psalm 37:7) with our whole beings and put our hope in You and Your word (Psalm 130:5).

Lord, we ask that you help us to trust in Your timing to see Your promises manifest in our life.  Lord, help us to constantly rejoice in hope [because of our confidence in Christ] steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength] (Romans 12:12).  Lord help us to wait with confident expectation, knowing that You have heard our prayers (Micah 7:7).  Lord, Your word says But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];  They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired (Isaiah 40:31).

So Lord, we need Your help to walk in what Your word says today.   Lord, if we become anxious in our waiting, remind us that we should be anxious for nothing and come to You in prayer for Your peace.  Lord, Your peace which is so good that it  surpasses all understanding and will guard our hearts and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).  Lord, if we get discouraged help us to remember to trust in and rely confidently on You with all our heart and do not rely on our own insight or understanding.  In all our ways let us know, acknowledge and recognize You, and You will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way] (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We ask all these things in Your Son JESUS Name, AMEN!

Lord Draw Close & Fill Me

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Your grace and mercy that you give us daily.  Thank you for our blood covering that keeps us protected.  Thank you Lord for everything that is being done on our behalf in the background of our lives that we can’t see.  Lord, we long to please You and glorify Your name.

Lord, show us where we have allowed emptiness to settle in us. Please reveal to us exactly what we have been doing to cover and conceal our emptiness.  Expose to us what we have used as temporary fixes to fill these voids.   Help us to bring healthy and fulfilling habits into our life.  Lord, we need You.  Come and pour into us so that every whole can be filled by You.  Fill us up with more of You.  Fill us Lord, till we overflow. Overwhelm us with more of Your love, peace, joy, wisdom, understanding, compassion and mercy to show ourselves and others.

Lord, as we draw closer to You, draw closer to us and take us into a deeper knowing of who You are.  Open our eyes where we might be blnded and gives us new sight to see with.  Let our sight be stronger and more advanced in seeing You work in every area of our life.  Let our sense of hearing be heightened to only Your voice.  Help us to trust that still small voice we hear more and be obedient to taking action regarding what it has spoken.

Lord have your way in us so that we can do what You purposed to happen through us.  Lord help us to make time to pray, read your word, worship You and sit quietly in Your presence.  Help us to keep You as the #1 priority in our lives.

In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Identity In Christ

Forgive us for defining who we are by this world’s standards.  Lord, forgive us for ever believing any lie that the enemy has told us about who we are, which we know is a lie and can’t be true because it does not line up with Your word and what it says about us.

Lord, because Your word says for we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us] (Ephesians 2:10).

Lord, Your word says that we are made in Your image and likeness (Genesis 1:27).

Lord, Your word says You approved us as Your chosen instrument, You consecrated us to You, You appointed us (Jeremiah 1:5).

Lord, Your word says that we are special people of Your own possession (1 Peter 2:9)

Lord, Your word says now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function] (1 Corinthians 12:27).

Lord, we thank you that we can say that I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me (Galatians 2:20)

Lord, we thank you for the incredible quality of love You have shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God (1 John 3:1-2)!

Lord, we thank you that we were purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own] (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Lord, for no job title we hold, no relationship status we have, no salary that we make and no material possession we acquire can tell us what our identity is.  Only You can tell us who we are because we were created by You.  Lord, let us be fully secure in who You say we are.  Help us to choose to believe what You say over anything else that we hear.  Let it be Your word and Your voice that we continuously hear above any others.  Lord, from here on out help us to walk in our true identity of knowing who we are in Christ Jesus.   Lord, were we fumble to realize our identity in you, reveal to us who you are because our identity can only be found in You.  Lord, where we fall short in our faith, give us the faith to be strong and know You are exactly who You say you are.

We love you, adore you , and we thank you God for all You are doing, all that’s already been done in our life and everything that we have still yet to experience.

Guidance Needed From God

Let us know Your ways, O Lord; Teach us Your paths. Guide us in Your truth (Psalm25:4).  For Your word says  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you (Psalm 32:8). Direct our steps in every area, every relationship and every step that we take.  Let us always walk in complete alignment with your will for our lives.  Whenever we step out of your will, reveal it to us.  Show us the direction and path that you want us to take.  Your word says the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9).  So Holy Spirit, since you were sent to be our guide, lead us in the way we should go so that everything we do is pleasing in the sight of our Heavenly Father.

Lord help us to put our lives in right order according to Your plan for it.  Lord help us to be solely committed to You and submitted under Your authority.  Let us only be led by You and not our emotions, feelings, flesh or negative thoughts.  Help us to walk in perfect peace by keeping our mind stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).  And when we don’t act, think or live from a place of peace, remind us meditate on Your word day and night so that we may be careful to do everything written in it (Joshua 1:8).  For Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).  Lord where we lack wisdom, we come to you and ask for godly wisdom (James 1:5) that only You can give us.

Lord, let us walk daily surrendered to You and trust in and rely confidently on You with all our heart And do not rely on our own insight or understanding. In all our ways let us know and acknowledge and recognize You, And You will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way] (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Through our adversity and suffering let us seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also (Matthew 6:33).

Lord, incline your ear to hear our prayer today (Psalm 17:6).

In JESUS Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!!!

Our Hope Is In Christ

Heavenly Father, Thank you for being strong enough to hold us in Your comfort. Thank You for being strong enough to and carry us when we are week.  Thank You for being a big God who nothing is impossible for.  Thank You for being a loving God who loves His children unconditionally.  Lord, we come before You today in need of hope.  Lord, where we feel despair and hopeless, we need you to help us throw down our anchor to find hope and strength to be immovable by the battles we face.  Lord, where we feel lost in our walk with You, we need hope to know that You go after the lost until You find us (Luke 15:4).   Lord where we feel we have lost who we are in You, we need hope to know that if we forget about ourselves and look to You, we will find both ourselves and You (Matthew 10:39 MSG).  Lord, where we feel discouraged about our future or how we will get there, we need hope to know that You have plans to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11) and that man can plan his ways but the Lord directs his steps and establishes them (Proverbs 16:9).  Lord, where we feel You have left and abandoned us, we need hope to know You will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 3:16).

Lord, fear has no place because our hope is found in You.  Lord, worry has no place because our hope is found in You.  Lord, doubt has no place because our hope is found in You.  Lord, hopelessness has no place because our hope can be found in You.  For God alone our soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him, For our hope is from Him (Psalm 62:5).  For You are our hope; O Lord God, You are our trust and the source of our confidence (Psalm 71:5).  For all of our hope can be found in You.  How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation] (Psalm 84:12).  So Lord we wait patiently on you, our soul [expectantly] waits, and in Your word do we hope (Psalm 130:5).  Uphold us according to Your word [of promise], so that we may live; And do not let us be ashamed of our hope [in Your great goodness] (Psalm 119:116).  Lord, we have desires that You have given us so help us to have expectation in You with the hope of seeing them manifest.  Help us to rest securely in our hope in You.  Let us be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12).  That You Lord, the source of hope will fill us completely with joy and peace because we trust in You.  Then we will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!

We thank you for always making a way even when it seems impossible.  Lord, we thank you that you have never given up on us.  Lord, we thank you that you are so faithful and loyal to us.  Lord, we thank you that you are for us and with us. Thank You God that you awaken us morning after morning.

Lord, we ask that you awaken us today.  Awaken us to what has been asleep, dead, or things we have been blinded by.  Awaken the sleeping giant within us.  Awaken the treasures of our gifts and talents to be stired up within us and let them only be used to glorify your name.  Awaken us to the authority that we hold to trample over our enemies.  Awaken more faith in us.  Awaken us with a change in perspective where our view is not like yours.  Awaken our hearts to love more like you and see people the way you do.  Awaken us with the desire to live unmasked and be our true authentic selves.   Awaken us to the beauty we hold inside and out.  Awaken us to the incredible grace you give to us daily and the mercy that never comes to an end and is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).   Awaken us to our passions, purpose, power and what we possess to help bring healing, encouragement, peace, and love to those we come into contact with.  Awaken our spirit to be more sensitive to your prescence.  Awake our soul (Psalm 57:8) to come into alignment with our spirit.  Awaken our mouths to speak life and bring healing to all who hear us speak.

Lord, reveal any areas in our lives where we are blinded so we no longer lack the ability to not see.   For every area that seems dead in us let us speak your word and say Awake, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light (Ephesians 5:14).  Lord, and where we slumber let us Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.  Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn (Isaiah 60:1-3).  Lord help us to be awaken to what you are doing in our lives and in this world.  Lord, help us to be prepared and ready for each morning with a mind that is alert, attentive and responsive to your voice.

Lord, resurrect any dead things in our lives and bring them back to life for your purpose. Heal us God from anything that is causing blindness in our lives so that we may began to see things more from your viewpoint and less from our limitations that we have placed on you.  Heal our ears and give our ears a higher frequency to be able to hear from you. Enhance our vision to be able to see more of you and your glory in our daily lives.  Lord, give us a greater expectation for all you want to do in our lives.  Let us be fully conscious of your goodness and your greatness.

In Jesus Name We Pray, AMEN!!!

Standing Against the Enemy

Lord, we Thank You for the suffering Jesus endured for us and that He willingly gave His life so that we would be forgiven. Lord we Thank You that Jesus rose 3 days later to defeat death and the enemy. Lord, we Thank You that you did all of this for us and that You gave us victory over our enemies. Lord, Thank You that you have given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm us (Luke 10:19). Lord we Thank You that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19).
Lord, help us to put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.  Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news].   Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people (Ephesians 6:11-18).
Lord, we are your children, so we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:7). Lord, we pray in the name of Jesus and rebuke and render powerless any and all things that would cause division, discord, strife, condemnation, pride, envy, jealousy, gossip, slander, complaining, fear of lack, evil speaking and deceiving spirits. Lord, we bind all curses that have been spoken against us. Lord, bless those who curse us, and we pray blessings on those who despitefully use us (Luke 6:28). We declare that we are the righteousness of God. So satan, you are bound from our family, our friends, our mind, our heart, our body, our home, our finances, our feelings and emotions. We confess with our mouth that we are healed and whole in Jesus Name. For God we know that you have placed purpose in us and You have a destiny for us to reach. Lord through our suffering let us see the treasures that you have placed inside of us. Because your word says that from the standpoint of faith that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us (Romans 8:18).
Lord we ask that you put a hedge of protection around us today. Lord show us the tactics that the enemy has in his plan to come and steal, kill and destroy any part of who we are in You. Teach us how to walk in the authority that you have already given us over our enemies. Let us be boastful in our weaknesses because your grace is sufficient and you power is made perfect in our weakness.
We pray all these things in Your Son Jesus Mighty Name, AMEN!!!

There Is Power In Your Tongue

Thank you Heavenly Father for your word that is sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).  Lord we thank you that your word is alive and active in us (Hebrews 4:12) and that it reaches down to the very being of who we are.  Lord, help us to be people who speak words to build up the people of God.  Lord, help us to no longer speak death but instead choose to speak life into ourselves, our situations, friends, family, children and anyone we come into contact with.  Lord let us do as it says in Your word that we should only speak good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear us speak (Ephesians 4:29).  Help us to not speak words that would offend others and let us not be easily offended by what is said to us.

Lord fill our hearts daily with your love, thanksgiving, compassion, and mercy to give to others.  Let your goodness be so overflowing from our mouths that we have Your love to share with others and Your words to speak life into them.  For Lord we know that the words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.  Lord we desire to be healed and to help bring healing to others.  So Lord help us to guard our mouths and our tongues to keep us from calamity (Proverbs 21:23).  Let us never use words of hurt or anger but speak from a heart of love and patience.  Lord, close our mouths when speaking evil, or anything that is not true or that would be hurtful for someone else to hear.  Lord set a guard over our mouths and keep a watch over the door of our lips (Psalm 141:3) so that whenever we speak death you would lovingly correct us and remind us to speak life.  Lord, convict us in our spirit when we complain, speak negatively or speak death.

Father help us to walk in the reassurance of the power in our tongue to speak life into situations and call things that are not, as though they are (Romans 4:17).  Lord, make our lips overflow to speak love, praises to you and encouragement to those who need it.  Fill our hearts with love, peace, and joy so that it becomes apart of who we are and the words that we speak becomes evident that we speak from a place of love, peace and joy in the Lord.  Help us Father to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger (James 1:19) and choose our words wisely when we speak to others.  Father even in times when our tone, volume, attitude, actions, or body language that we use speaks louder than our words let it all come from a place of love.  Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable and pleaseing in Your sight, O Lord, my firm, immovable rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14).  May every word that we speak be a reflection of You who lives inside of us.  Because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord show us when to speak and when we should just keep quiet to give you the opportunity to speak to people how you see fit.  When we do speak, let the words we speak be words that you want us to say and that it would bring life, hope, healing, encouragement and Your love to the person who hears it.  We pray God that as we speak that the hearer would be able to take in our words, process them and break them down in a way to be encouraged and see that we speak with God’s love.

In JESUS Mighty Name, Amen!

Walking In Obedience

Heavenly Father we thank you for being our Provider, Way Maker, Savior, Shelter from the storm and our place of Refuge when life gets tough. Lord our lives are submitted to You and our desire is to walk in obedience to You, Your will, Your word and Your ways. Lord our flesh desires to rebel against You and Your laws, so we need you to help us to walk in obedience to You. Help us to take every area of our life into obedience with Your word. Help us to be obedient to Your word by keeping it on our lips, meditating on it day and night and obeying everything written in it (Joshua 1:8). Help us to take our thoughts into obedience with yours for it says in Your word “We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). Lord, help us to stay focused on You so that no obstacle seems impossible. For Your word says we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13). Help us to be obedient to Your will and Your plan for our lives. For Your word says You have plans for us to prosper, and plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Help us to be obedient to where You call us to go and to what You call us to do. Lord give us a desire to be faithfully obedient and devoted to You.

Lord help us to be disciplined to be in Your word daily. Lord help us to faithfully pray fervent prayers and take the steps needed to live a more obedient life to You. Lord, we want to be your treasured possesions so help us to fully obey and keep Your covenants (Exodus 19:5). Through our acts of obedience help us to gain the confidence of knowing we are living in your will. Give us your peace in our obedience so that we can make right decisions that align with your purpose for our lives.

Lord forgive us for our disobedience. Lord show us any area of our lives where we are being disobedient. Lord deliver us from whatever keeps us from walking in obedience to You. Show us when we are not doing things Your way. Help us to hear You clearly and the very specific instructions that we need to follow. Lord let Your word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Teach us new levels and dimensions of walking obedience and trusting You. For every step we take in obedience help us to discover a freedom that we have never experienced before.

Where we may feel lost, Lord show us what we should be doing and help us quickly to obey it. Lord, if there are any steps of obedience that we need to take that we don’t understand, give us eyes of faith to see things with a change in perspective to see it from Your view. When we struggle to be obedient, Lord give us courage and strength to take the necessary actions to obey You.

Guide us Lord to follow your commands as you always know what’s best for us. Lord help us to make the essential sacrifices that are needed for us to take more ground to accomplish our destiny. Lord, strengthen us as we walk in obedience to Your commands and let us take possession of every blessing, opportunity, open door and all that You have for us (Deuteronomy 11:8).

In Jesus Name We Pray, AMEN!!!

Surrender It All To God

Father, Please come into our heart in a deeper way. Make your desies our desires, make your thoughts our thoughts, Lord have your way that your will would be done in our life (Luke 22:42). Lord we say yes to your will, yes to your ways and yes to your word. Lord we ask that you come into our lives and bring us into alignment with your plan and purpose for our lives. Lord you reign and rule over us so Lord have your way in us. We hold nothing back from you today, Lord you can have all of us . Every part of our very being belongs to you. For you ransomed us and Jesus paid for our sin with the ultimate sacrifice of His life. God we praise you, and give you all the glory and all the honor!!!

Lord we come because we need You Lord to help us walk out a life surrendered to You. Lord, we surrender our life, our jobs, our money, our cars, our children, our grandchildren, our marriages, our relationships, our time, our agendas, our dreams, our future, our past, our present, our failures, our ideas, our fears, our doubts, our worries, our weaknesses, our talents and our gifts to You. Lord have Your way in our lives. Lord we surrender to Your plans for our lives no matter where they may take us. We withhold nothing from You today. Change our mind and give us a new perspective. Change our heart and help us to love more like You. Change our sight, that we may see things with eyes of faith. Change our actions, that we would imitate you more. Change our attitude that we would show more patience and kindness toward others.

We release our struggles, trials and our tribulations to You. Lord do what you need to do with us so that Your will is done and that we grow in truth, wisdom, trust in You and strength. We surrender everything that we’ve been afraid to give over to You. We surrender all the questions and prayers that we are still waiting to see answered. Lord we surrender our disappointment, hopelessness, negative emotions, insecurities, defeating behaviors and we turn it over to You in Jesus Name.

Holy Spirit reveal to us any area that we have not surrendered. For our desire is to follow You and Your lead. Lord, whenever we step out of alignment of your will, show us where we have done so. Lord equip us with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding to walk daily in surrender to You.

Lord, today we will stop fighting with You, hiding from You and resisting to live according to Your will. Lord, we will abandon living in our own will, and relinquish control of our lives over to You. Lord we submit ourselves and our life to You (James 4:7). Lord we know we can’t live in triumph over our struggles unless we surrender to You. We also know that we can’t have bold faith unless we walk a life totally surrendered to You. Lord, the only way we can see a resolution to our problems is by giving them over to You.  Because surrender is never about us giving up but all about us letting go.  We want to walk a daily life surrendered completely to you, but we will need your help to do this.  We don’t want to pick back up any of the things we have given over to You, so please remind us when we do.  We are letting go of everything that has hindered us from moving forward in life and we are handing over everything that has been in our hands long enough.  Lord, we give it all to You.

We lay it at your feet because there is nothing more we can do with this but give it to You to handle.  There is nothing that You can’t do and nothing to big that You can’t fix.  So we surrender it all to You.  As we surrender to You Lord, please give us Your peace.  The peace that only You can give, that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).  Fill us today with more of You and less of ourselves. And we thank You for helping us to surrender everything to You and walk out a surrendered life.  In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen!
