Receiving God’s Mercy

Lord thank you for being so rich in mercy, because of Your great and wonderful love that You love us with (Ephesians 2:4).  Thank You Lord that Your steadfast love never ceases and Your mercy never comes to and end but it is new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.  Thank You Lord for cleansing us through a spiritual transformation of a new birth and renewing by the Holy Spirit because of Your compassion and mercy that You show us because we are children of the most high God whom You saved (Titus 3:5). Lord, because we have been saved, let us abound in Your abundance of mercy that has caused us to be set apart for your purpose in an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3).  Teach us how to repent, ask for forgiveness, and how to fall into Your hands of mercy as and when we make mistakes and not into the hands of man (2 Samuel 24:14).  Because there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior] (Romans 8:1)  Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).  Lord guide us to be merciful (responsive, compassionate, tender) to others just as You have been merciful to us (Luke 6:36).  For blessed [content, sheltered by God’s promises] are the merciful, for they will receive mercy (Matthew 5:7).  Lord just as we have been given mercy, reveal to us how to be used as vessels of Your mercy.

In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!

Walking In God’s Love

Lord, we Thank You for the amazing love that You have for us as Your children.  Lord, we Thank You that there is nothing that we can do that could ever separate us from Your love (Romans 8:39).  Thank You Lord, that there is no place that we could ever go where Your love cannot reach us.  Lord, we open the door of our hearts and invite You to come in and make your home in us.  Abundantly pour out Your love within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5).  Plant our feet firmly in Your love so we can experience the extravagant dimensions of Christ love  (Ephesians 3:18-19).  For You are rich in love and so strong is Your love for those who fear You.  Your lovingkindness endures forever and Your love never quits (Psalm 118:29).  Your lovingkindness prevails over us as we triumph and overcome through You (Psalm 117:2). Lord, we ask today that you would teach us how to not resist love but be open to receive love from You and others You have placed in our lives.  Show us how to love more like you do.  The kind of love that has no conditions or expectations of receiving love in return. For Your love for us is loyal and could never run out.  Lord, Your merciful love could never dry up (Lamentations 3:22).  Steady us and our hearts at the center of Your love so we can learn how to love and show love even to those who have hurt us.

Lord, let everything we do be done from the kind love that is motivated and inspired by the love You have for us (1 Corinthians 16:14).  Lord mature Your love in us.  Lord, let us live a new life of love dressed in the wardrobe You picked out for us.  One with compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as You forgave us. And regardless of what else we put on, we  wear love. Lord, help us to never be without it (Colossians 3:14).  For if we love one another [with unselfish concern], You abide in us, and Your love abides in us and is completed and perfected in us (1 John 4:12).  Keep us forever walking in Your love and let Your love be seen in us.

In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!

Our Insecurities Can’t Rule Us

Heavenly Father,

Thank you Father that even with our own insecurites we are absolutely secure in You. For Father, You are are with us always and You are never letting go of us.  Thank You for being such an incredible Father to us.  Lord, You reign supreme over us and that’s why our insecurties cannot rule over us. So Lord, we ask that You expose to us every insecurity we have so we can acknowledge it and surrender it to You.  Lord, bind up every tactic that the enemy would try to use from our past in our insecurities and turn them around by delivering us from them so we can be victorious over them and You can make them work for our good.  For Lord, only with You can we conquer them because You have given us authority and power to trample over our enemies and nothing will harm us (Luke 10:19).  For every insecurity that has taken root in us and where we have allowed it to make a home in us, we boldy declare that each and every single one has been evicted today.  Lord, help us to change our behavior that fed into our insecurities and guide us to walk upright as a new creature in You.   Enlighten our mind to think about ourselves as You do.  Give us eyes like Yours so we can began to see our selves as we should.  Lord, teach us how to see ourselves as a beautiful creation that is worthy of receiving every good thing you have for us.  Impress on us that we are enough just as You have made us to be with our own uniquness that makes us who are.  Show us that we are valuable and precious to You because we are unconditionally loved by You as Your child.  Change our perspective to Yours so that we know when you made us You made a masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10) in Your own image.  Stir up in us what Your word says about us so when the enemy tries to get us to come into agreement with one of his lies we can rebuke it in the name of Jesus.  Whatever might be blocking us from having Your perception about who we are, we ask that You reveal that to us so can turn it over to you in prayer.  For every word that the enemy tries to use against us let us be reminded that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:1

In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!!!

Discouragement No More

Thank you God that you hear our prayers and you meet us where  we have needs.  Thank you Lord, that we can come to You and commune with You anytime we want.  Thank you Father for always being there for us no matter what.  Lord, the enemy is really trying to get us discouraged, lose hope and give up.  But Your word says You are our rock and our salvation; our fortress and our defense and we will not be shaken or discouraged (Psalm 62:6).  Lord, shine new light in the dark areas of our life and reveal to us anything that the enemy wants to keep hidden about us that needs to be acknowledged and changed.  As you reveal these things to us and we come face to face with them, let us be strong and courageous.  And let us not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord our God will be with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9).

Holy Spirit remind us to not become discouraged or disappointed when things don’t turn out how we expected by bringing to our recollection that our innerself is being progressively renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).  So no matter what it looks like, we can stand on the truth that You are renewing us everyday and You will finish the work You started in us.  Lord, where we lack motivation to read Your word, pray or give you praise, quicken in us the desire to worship You just for who You are.  Because giving thanks to You brings the joy of the Lord to us.   And let us never forget where you have brought us from.  Help us to stay on track with Your plan for our lives and let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.  Lord, help us to not lose hope and help us to take our thoughts captive and think on everything that is good.  Help us to see You working on our behalf and that You are holding us in the palm of Your hands and that You will never let go of us.  Help us to know and feel Your unconditional love everyday and be able to share that love with those you place around us.  Let the light of Jesus radiate such brightness from the inside of us that others who are discouraged are attracted to the light we carry so we can help encourage them out of discouragement.  Because Father as we do for them, You will also do for us.  We love You, we adore You and thank you Lord that you call us Your own.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

Calling God Into Our Dry Places

O God, You are our God; with deepest longing we will seek You; Our soul [our life, our very self] thirsts for You, our flesh longs and sighs for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water (Psalm 63:1).  So Lord we call upon You, to come into our dry places because we know that only You can turn dry land into springs of water (Psalm 107:35).  We ask that You continually guide us through theses dry places in our lives.  Lord, satisfy our soul in these scorched and dry places.  Give us sustaining strength, so we can be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail (Isaiah 58:11).  Lord, rain down on us and let us be saturated with your goodness and soaked by Your love all they way down to our roots that have been planted in You.  Lord, as you plant seeds in us, help them to never stop growing in You.  Help us to do the things we need to do for those seeds to be watered and nourished by You.

Wherever we may experience a famine, let Your power still continue to grow in us because it is necessary and needed.  Lord, you said if anyone is thirsty , let him come to Me and drink!  He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water (John 7:37-38).”  Let Your water become in us like a spring of water [satifsfying our thirst for God] welling up [continually flowing, bubbling within us] to eternal life (John 4:14).  Let Your rivers of living water flow through us and let it bring new life to any place in our lives that has dried up and been unable to grow.

From the living water that we have received, let new revelations and discoveries of You spring forth.  Let our knowledge of You expand and our potential be realized for our destiny and the call that You have placed on our lives.  Help us to be confident and strong in You and walk upright in the expansion of our wisdom.  Help us to walk more in the Holy Spirit and under the annointing to use our gifts and talents for Your glory.  Restore to us the joy of our salvation And sustain us with a willing spirit (Psalm 51:12).

In JESUS Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!!!

Praying Against Confusion & Chaos

Lord,

We thank You for this day.  We thank You that you give clarity and wisdom to those who lack it.  We thank you God that you give revelation and understanding in times of chaos and confusion.  Lord, there are places where we have allowed thoughts of confusion to enter our minds and dwell there longer than it should.  So we ask God that You come into those places and eliminate the confusion and give us wisdom.  Lord, Your word says  If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him (James 1:5-8).  Lord, let us be in expectation for the wisdom that only You can give us and not think like a double minded-man who is unstable and restless in his ways.  For confusion does not come from You and is not of You but it is a tactic that the enemy will use to get us off track and out of alignment with the steps that you have establised for us to walk in.  Lord, help to walk in those established steps in Your will and in Your timing.  Help us to resist trying to live in our own will.  Lord, help us to lean more on you and trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all our heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  In all our ways help us to know and acknowledge and recognize the Lord, And He will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way].  Let us not be wise in our own eyes; Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil (Proverbs 3:5-7).  Lord, give us a new perspective on the situation and let us see it from Your view.  When chaos tries to come into our lives and cause confusion,  Lord gives us peace in our hearts and our minds.  Gives us Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) in Jesus name.

For You are not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order (1 Corinthians 14:33).  Lord, where we may be experiencing chaos right now, we ask that you bind it in the Name of Jesus and bring godly order to that situation right now.  Give us discernment for our part in Your plan to do this and wherever Lord we need to take our hands off the situation direct us to do that.  Lord, we leave it with You and in Your hands and we need You to have Your way. Lord we ask that You work this situation out for the good and let us be forever changed for the better because of this, strengthened by it and wiser for going through it.

In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!!

Waiting Well & Trusting God’s Timing

Lord,

Thank You for going before us and behind us.  Thank You for making our crooked places straight (Luke 3:5).  Thank You for your grace and that you give us hope and encouragement in our waiting.  Lord, help us to be still before You and wait patiently on You (Psalm 37:7) with our whole beings and put our hope in You and Your word (Psalm 130:5).

Lord, we ask that you help us to trust in Your timing to see Your promises manifest in our life.  Lord, help us to constantly rejoice in hope [because of our confidence in Christ] steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength] (Romans 12:12).  Lord help us to wait with confident expectation, knowing that You have heard our prayers (Micah 7:7).  Lord, Your word says But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];  They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired (Isaiah 40:31).

So Lord, we need Your help to walk in what Your word says today.   Lord, if we become anxious in our waiting, remind us that we should be anxious for nothing and come to You in prayer for Your peace.  Lord, Your peace which is so good that it  surpasses all understanding and will guard our hearts and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).  Lord, if we get discouraged help us to remember to trust in and rely confidently on You with all our heart and do not rely on our own insight or understanding.  In all our ways let us know, acknowledge and recognize You, and You will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way] (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We ask all these things in Your Son JESUS Name, AMEN!

Lord Draw Close & Fill Me

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Your grace and mercy that you give us daily.  Thank you for our blood covering that keeps us protected.  Thank you Lord for everything that is being done on our behalf in the background of our lives that we can’t see.  Lord, we long to please You and glorify Your name.

Lord, show us where we have allowed emptiness to settle in us. Please reveal to us exactly what we have been doing to cover and conceal our emptiness.  Expose to us what we have used as temporary fixes to fill these voids.   Help us to bring healthy and fulfilling habits into our life.  Lord, we need You.  Come and pour into us so that every whole can be filled by You.  Fill us up with more of You.  Fill us Lord, till we overflow. Overwhelm us with more of Your love, peace, joy, wisdom, understanding, compassion and mercy to show ourselves and others.

Lord, as we draw closer to You, draw closer to us and take us into a deeper knowing of who You are.  Open our eyes where we might be blnded and gives us new sight to see with.  Let our sight be stronger and more advanced in seeing You work in every area of our life.  Let our sense of hearing be heightened to only Your voice.  Help us to trust that still small voice we hear more and be obedient to taking action regarding what it has spoken.

Lord have your way in us so that we can do what You purposed to happen through us.  Lord help us to make time to pray, read your word, worship You and sit quietly in Your presence.  Help us to keep You as the #1 priority in our lives.

Identity In Christ

Lord,

Forgive us for defining who we are by this world’s standards.  Lord, forgive us for ever believing any lie that the enemy has told us about who we are, which we know is a lie and can’t be true because it does not line up with Your word and what it says about us.

Lord, because Your word says for we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us] (Ephesians 2:10).

Lord, Your word says that we are made in Your image and likeness (Genesis 1:27).

Lord, Your word says You approved us as Your chosen instrument, You consecrated us to You, You appointed us (Jeremiah 1:5).

Lord, Your word says that we are special people of Your own possession (1 Peter 2:9)

Lord, Your word says now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function] (1 Corinthians 12:27).

Lord, we thank you that we can say that I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me (Galatians 2:20)

Lord, we thank you for the incredible quality of love You have shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God (1 John 3:1-2)!

Lord, we thank you that we were purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own] (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Lord, for no job title we hold, no relationship status we have, no salary that we make and no material possession we acquire can tell us what our identity is.  Only You can tell us who we are because we were created by You.  Lord, let us be fully secure in who You say we are.  Help us to choose to believe what You say over anything else that we hear.  Let it be Your word and Your voice that we continuously hear above any others.  Lord, from here on out help us to walk in our true identity of knowing who we are in Christ Jesus.   Lord, were we fumble to realize our identity in you, reveal to us who you are because our identity can only be found in You.  Lord, where we fall short in our faith, give us the faith to be strong and know You are exactly who You say you are.

We love you, adore you , and we thank you God for all You are doing, all that’s already been done in our life and everything that we have still yet to experience.

In JESUS MIGHTY NAME,  We Pray.  AMEN!!!!

Guidance Needed From God

Lord,

Let us know Your ways, O Lord; Teach us Your paths. Guide us in Your truth (Psalm25:4).  For Your word says  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you (Psalm 32:8). Direct our steps in every area, every relationship and every step that we take.  Let us always walk in complete alignment with your will for our lives.  Whenever we step out of your will, reveal it to us.  Show us the direction and path that you want us to take.  Your word says the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9).  So Holy Spirit, since you were sent to be our guide, lead us in the way we should go so that everything we do is pleasing in the sight of our Heavenly Father.

Lord help us to put our lives in right order according to Your plan for it.  Lord help us to be solely committed to You and submitted under Your authority.  Let us only be led by You and not our emotions, feelings, flesh or negative thoughts.  Help us to walk in perfect peace by keeping our mind stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).  And when we don’t act, think or live from a place of peace, remind us meditate on Your word day and night so that we may be careful to do everything written in it (Joshua 1:8).  For Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).  Lord where we lack wisdom, we come to you and ask for godly wisdom (James 1:5) that only You can give us.

Lord, let us walk daily surrendered to You and trust in and rely confidently on You with all our heart And do not rely on our own insight or understanding. In all our ways let us know and acknowledge and recognize You, And You will make our paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block our way] (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Through our adversity and suffering let us seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also (Matthew 6:33).

Lord, incline your ear to hear our prayer today (Psalm 17:6).

In JESUS Mighty Name We Pray, AMEN!!!
